ExtractIng

ExtractIng is a prototypical tool developed at the High Performance Computing Center Stuttgart to parse existing metadata out of textual files like input or log files and convert this information into the EngMeta metadata scheme. It can be used to automate metadata capture within the research process. ExtractIng is configurable in a very flexible way to support different input formats.
